(Lahore News HD)- The hostel of National College of Arts has been vacated due to security concerns for 1 week time period. All students feel upset after this sudden declaration. The process of vacating Punjab University hostels has begun.
The current wave of terrorism in the city has caused closure of educational institutes to avoid any unusual incident. The security measures have to be reviewed for which 1 week vacations for all students have been announced.
Two boys’ hostels and 1 females’ hostel of National College of Arts has been vacated. University will be reopened on 6th of March as per management’s decision. However, students are troubled due to this sudden announcement.
On the other hand, the process of checking for Punjab University students has also been initiated to make sure foolproof security measures. The decision to vacate hotels of this university is still pending between police and the management. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Haider Ashraf has stated that we haven’t directed university management to vacate university or hostels.
