(Lahore News HD)- An important scandal has been reported in Punjab University where chief engineer has exposed Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr. Zafar Moeen Nasir for embezzlement in terms of corruption work.
Reportedly, an embezzlement of Rs. 2 crore has been reported in Punjab University in terms of construction work. Chief Engineer Faiz-ul-Hassan has provided a written statement to fact finding committee according to which VC Dr. Zafar Moeen Nasir has got construction work proceeded on oral orders for which no advertisement was released.
Moreover he stated that all construction work was being supervised by VC Dr. Zafar Moeen Nasir personally and he directed to proceed with work on emergency basis at the time of convocation.
On the other hand, representative from Punjab University Khurram Shahzad denied from all of these allegations saying that when this corruption case was highlighted, VC Dr. Zafar Moeen himself made an inquiry committee and Chief Engineer Faiz-ul-Hassan couldn’t present any evidence of this accusation. A regular process of inquiry has now been intiated and soon all facts will be revealed consequently.
